How It Began
For as long as I can remember, caring for others has been part of who I am.
As a nurse, wife, and mother, my days have been filled with caring for patients, supporting my family, and showing up for the people I love. It has been one of life's greatest privileges and a calling I am deeply grateful God entrusted to me.
But somewhere along the way, I realized I had become very good at caring for everyone else while rarely making space to care for my own heart.
Like so many women, I believed rest could wait—until after one more shift, one more responsibility, and one more task crossed off the list.
Making Room for Peace
Over time, God gently began teaching me that peace is not something we discover once life finally becomes quiet. It is something we choose to make room for along the way.
I began noticing His goodness in ordinary moments:
The comforting scent of a candle after a long day.
The quiet steam rising from a warm shower.
Morning light falling softly through the window.
Fresh flowers resting on the table.
A few deep breaths before the house woke up.
Those rituals did not remove my responsibilities. They changed the way I returned to them—with greater presence, gratitude, and care.

That realization became the beginning of Abigail Botanica.
My hope was never simply to create beautiful products. It was to create meaningful rituals rooted in faith, inspired by family, and thoughtfully crafted to help women discover peace in everyday life.
Not to help us escape our lives, but to help us return to them—to our families, our homes, our purpose, and ourselves—with grateful hearts.
Because the ordinary moments are often the ones that matter most. And if Abigail Botanica helps even one woman pause, breathe deeply, notice God's goodness, and embrace the beauty of the life she has been given, then this dream has been worth it.

My daughter, Abigail, reminds me every day of the kind of woman I pray she becomes—a woman who walks with grace, wisdom, and courage, who knows her worth in God's eyes, and who never forgets that she is deeply loved.
